Serving Adoptees and Families
As an adult adoptee and experience-led expert, I am committed to supporting adoptees in finding belonging and voice. My work focuses on creating meaningful connection using a collaborative and experiential approach so clients can reach their goals. As a Marriage and Family Therapist in training, TBRI Practitioner, and Neurofeedback Practitioner, supporting adoptees of all ages from a systemic framework means adoptees could gain deeper connection with family members who better understand the impact of separation and adoption trauma. Grief and loss, rejection, abandonment, and anxiety are just a few of the potential struggles adoptees face, but you are not alone. Let's face them together.
Trust-based Relational Intervention (TBRIĀ®) is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. Empowering, connecting, and correcting principles are used which include specific ways to engage with children and caregivers. For more information, please visit https://child.tcu.edu/about-us/tbri.
